Mood = this. via

Hey guys, here are my current favorite links:

- Guess what? That amazing orange chicken you get from your local spot is super easy to make. Check it out.
- Loving these super Swell water bottles right now!
- An interesting read on how Alessandro Michele was the most exciting thing to happen in fashion.
- Lots of love for the pointed laced up flats trend.
- A story of friendship, a must read.
- We all NEED this recipe for those days.... Chamomile Hot Toddy to the rescue.
- I like this coat a lot, but especially because it has 'teddy bear' in its name (hehe)

COUTURE SPRING 2016: Giambattista Valli

Giambattista Valli Haute Couture Spring 2016

There is nothing quite as magical as seeing the couture dresses backstage on the models, as they are just pre/post walking the runway. I love how the dresses look off the runway more than on, especially in Giambattista's case.

Also, there is nothing quite as magical than seeing an incredible city be represented in a couture collection. This one is an obvious ode to Paris, and in Giamba's taste - the gardens of Paris.

How many of you have been to Paris before? If you've never been, I completely recommend it. As this collection only can lightly show (more would be impossible) the beauty of the Jardin du Luxembourg and the Jardin des Tuileries (the only two I've been to, therefore can vouch for). I always admire how Giamba can transform dresses into works of art; and I do wonder which dresses we'll see at the Oscars, and on whom.

Wait, it's alright to call him Giamba right? xx

HOW TO: Reduce Stress

Stress. Ugh.
I get very stressed sometimes, but lately I've wondered: why do I keep this to myself?
We all go through this: tough days at work, not hitting great results in university, arguing with a good friend (and even, losing that friend), not achieving the desired outcome from a blog post, and many, many other parts of life which I'm sure we could discuss for ages. The feelings of stress which come with anxiety and nerves sometimes, well, they are quite normal, which is why I decided to write this post. Like I said, I get stressed. But I'm used to it, and I have a few ways in which I reduce that stress quite fast, and it would be a shame not to share my ways, with hope you can gain something out of this. Here are my favorite ways de-stress:

This is the obvious one, which I'm sure you already know and have been told to do a million times... But it's so true! Chill, take it easy. Read a book (current recommendation: I Feel Bad About My Neck by Nora Ephron), listen to some music, get some good Netflix on and just relax... These moments with yourself are sometimes just what you need to refresh a bit.

It's rare for me to start the day stressed - the stressy stuff always hits near the end of the day. And I've found myself walking out of the office to some awesome fresh air, and I feel almost instantly better. I have been working on getting air a few times during the working day, because I do think the constant being-indoors is quite suffocating. Guys, we need to make getting some air a habit.

I used to be a super messy and unorganized person. At one point I recognized the constant mess as (you guessed it) #stress. Stress can come from being very overwhelmed by things. Start by creating a to-do list for the next day, and getting your tasks prioritized. Follow this by doing an organizational task: fold your otherwise messy underwear drawer or rehang your clothes by colors (or prints!), or you could clean out your desk (including dusting). Try it, you'll be surprised at how awesome this can make you feel.

An expensive one, really. But this part of Parks and Rec is everything. Yes, to the point where this episode aired ages ago and I still think about it. I will buy myself flowers, a cupcake, or I'll book a massage. I'd go with some friends for a nice dinner, or even for a gorgeous coffee. I'll walk into Zara or spend some time on ASOS. Again, this is the expensive way to let go of the stress so I wasn't sure I'd add it to the list, but it works damn good.

There you have it! These all work for me super well, and I hope they're helpful for you too!
What are your tips for letting go of the stress? Do share! xx

PRE-FALL 2016: Rebecca Minkoff

Rebecca Minkoff Pre-Fall 2016

Basics, oh how I love the basics of this collection! They are pleasantly timeless, with some cool details, such as the stitched leather in the magenta moto jacket. I want. xx
