September Interiors

The journey for me to purchase a bike was long, and then building up the courage to ride around the city with confidence was another big goal accomplished. And now, I'm opening up to storing the bike inside the apartment.
Living in the city means that bikes get stolen left and right (a big issue when you buy a not-so-cheap bike that you absolutely adore). Additionally, apartments are smaller than the norm, so finding the space to store the bike indoors is proving to be a huge challenge! But as the winter months creep closer, I really need to just get my act together and find the perfect solution.

What are your thoughts? Are you city bikers? And if so, where do you store your bike? I'd love to know what you all are doing!

Don’t forget to follow! xx

  1. im not a city biker but my fiancé is and I imagine in our flat we will have to do something like this. Will show it to him :)

  2. I love this post! Your pictures are gorgeous!

  3. I have not ridden a bike since I was a child. I think I would love to have one again.

  4. When I lived in Paris we had the same problem, but we stored all the bikes in a common court in the appartment building. I love how they look inside :)

  6. Those are really creative and beautiful ways to store bikes! I would definitely do that if I had the courage myself to ride a bike around the city.

  7. I wish I could ride a bike in the city in confidence! I'm always jealous of people who have the courage to do that. I think I would definitely store my bike inside :) I love that idea.

  8. First of all, good for you for accomplishing your goal of riding your bike around the city. I just moved to a city with a huge biking culture and I don't know if I have the courage to jump on the bandwagon. In terms of the decor inspiration, I really love the idea of hanging a bike up on a wall. It just adds something interesting to a space.

  9. I live in the city but don't ride a bike. I'm actually scared to in the city. With the traffic and such, it seems dangerous haha. But I do love the look of vintage bikes. Something about them have character and would loe to purchase one for decor haha.

  10. You pick really nice one! And if I had a bike and big room like here, I would definitely use this type of storing it =)

  11. Inspiring choice! Just lovely)
