Altuzarra Spring 2016 Ready-To-Wear at New York Fashion Week
Having just been to Spain and to Catalonia for the first time, I have a major appreciation for this collection. It's very safe to say that I had an amazing trip - photos on my Instagram - and I'll miss that area of the world until I next go back. I loved seeing some of the region in a collection, a nice surprise really, though Altuzarra is a Spanish designer. I think Altuzarra designs for all strong and gorgeous urban women, which is why I tend to forget that he is indeed form one country, filled with its own stunning silhouettes for that very woman. I'm very pleased Altuzarra went home for his Spring 2016 collection.
The overall feel of the look is very easy going, fit for running around your divine Spanish city on a warm summer's day (which, is also very humid for the most part). The linen dresses and skirts that opened the collection is something I'd also bring along with me to Tel Aviv and Miami, and are classic enough to get lots of good mileage for the buy.
The dip-dyed dresses looked like the Mediterranean sea itself, which I find so very beautiful, though I find dip-dye to be a bit less on the classic side of things. The beading detail proves to be an enchanting and modern take on traditional pieces. All looks are completes with an espadrille shoe - again, just so very right.
