LFW: Burberry Prorsum Spring 2016 Ready-To-Wear

Burberry Prorsum Spring 2016 Ready To Wear at London Fashion Week

The Burberry experience, back again and better than ever. And while the clothes and shoes themselves may not be my taste this season (bags aside - I LOVE the bags), the fact that this brand manages to lead in music and in tech and fashion deserves a post of its own.

Digital innovation is now something that should go hand in hand with fashion - and Burberry is paving the way. Burberry has recently become the first fashion brand to launch an Apple Music channel, as it brings us this insane 32-piece orchestra to play the latest show. Additionally, this show was previewed on Snapchat - without doubt this will be a trend we will see from many fashion brands to follow. And that's just it: when music and tech become the big trends of the season. It's just really cool.

However, as far as the actual clothes go; like I said, they aren't really my taste specifically, though the detailing is still something I admire. I enjoy seeing the elaborate embroidery, fabric layers, the appliqué coats. This collection is incredibly urban and quite city chic for Burberry, a unique turn for now.

Thoughts on the collection? Did you get the preview on Snapchat?

Don’t forget to follow! xx

  5. I love to see how labels keep up with the times. Totally agree with you on innovation in fashion & technology, Arden. I'm too impressed by this collection either but madly love the accessoiries, especially the harness.

  6. Burberry is such an amazing brand. I think quality pieces are worth the investment. I personally love this collection.

  7. I love the brand some of these outfits are nice others are I would not dare put on.

  8. I am loving the lace pieces on here. I haven't seen the whole collection, but the pieces from the recent season were very 70s inspired. I'm not a fan of patchwork stuff as much, but some of their stuff was really inspired. And yes, they do have FABULOUS bags!
