GET THE LOOK: summer biker

Photo found here / would love to know the original source! If this photo is yours, or if you know the source, please let me know!
TOP - ROWME | V Neck White Tank Top, $10
SKIRT - H&M | Black Pleated Skirt, $18
SHOES - New Balance | Trainers, $118

Every morning, as I wait for the bus, I see this woman bike by. She has this light blue bike (love it) and she's always so well dressed in dresses and skirts! You don't think that a dress/skirt suits biking. But I'm so happy I've witnessed someone who proves that wrong. And then this photo came into my Pinterest feed...
On another note, I've been "shopping" for a bike since winter. I've already located the bike I want, where it also fits right in with my budget. But... I'm actually a bit scared to bike around Tel Aviv! In Miami and in Berlin, I was 100% totally fine and confident biking through the city. But Tel Aviv is just too much. Anyone else feeling this? x

  13. You just always have to remember to do the penny trick when you're riding a bike in a skirt or dress! Or, ya know, just wear bike shorts ;)

  34. Biking around the city? That's so clever! I wish we could all do this to minimize our carbon footprint. I don't own a bike. But I borrow my cousin's if I need to do weekend errands. I would love to be as stylish as her on a bike, though. LOL. xoxo

  41. Since I moved to Santiago de Chile, where everybody has a bike, I've been planning to buy myself one too! Though here you can find free bike station everywhere, but they are not that fashion))) Also I guess i'm a bit lazy to cover such long distances by bike. Still want to buy one!)))

    1. I know what you mean! Tel Aviv has these horrible looking (but very convenient) bright green bikes (a not-so-cute bright green color). They argue that the color makes them easy to find. haha.

Hope you buy a cute bike soon! xx

  42. Cute! Biking in a skirt/dress isn't so bad...but biking in wedges are impossible haha. Because they raise your knees into your handle bars. Pump heels don't do that so much ;)
