PFW: Lanvin AW15 RTW

Lanvin Autumn/Winter 2015 Ready to Wear at Paris Fashion Week

Alber Elbaz took us back to his native Morocco and gave us these insanely beautiful garments.
This collection is a bit tribal and had some really interesting contrasts, even for Elbaz's Lanvin.
The silhouette was nicely loose, and very suitable to most women. The colors went from toned down in the beginning of the collection to very rich and bold throughout the rest - the embellishments and various stunning handmade details shine brightly. The tassels are my favorite of these details, since I quite like my tassels on my handbags only, until this collection made me want them on my coats, necklaces, and boots too!

Did this collection remind anyone else of Yves Saint Laurent's Morocco moment? To me it did. And it's pretty major. xx
