The Uniform Series: Shirts

I love fashion, and I don't have the time to deal with what, where, when, and why. Therefore I created myself a daily uniform, and I'll be sharing this with you through what I will fancily call The Uniform Series. Once a week I will feature my must-have pieces in shirts, jeans, skirts, shoes, accessories, and beauty. Let us now begin with the shirts:

1. Equipment - Lightweight Shirt
2. Base Range - Basic Button-Up Shirt
3. Rebecca Taylor - Long Sleeved Blouse
4. MANGO - Striped Blouse
5. Equipment - Brett Blouse
6. J. Crew - Selvedge Chambray Shirt

Those who know me will probably roll their eyes - I'm lucky enough to work in a laid-back-enough environment to not have to wear proper work clothes to work (tee shirts are very acceptable - long live the standards of the Tel Aviv high-tech scene!). And yet, I wear my ironed shirts daily. There is nothing quite like a crisp, buttoned up shirt. It's always chic, good looking, and impressive. And it's also a style which suits my body type well. I find the majority of my shirts at Zara, H&M, MANGO, but it's those Equipment blouses that do last me longer. I recommend investing here. Thoughts? xx

  5. I love a good button-up! The Rebecca Taylor one you shared is perfect! Dressing for office work can be so difficult—I love reading about what others wear! I'm sharing an office wear series on my blog too! But I'm a crazy person who tries to incorporate my entire wardrobe into my office style haha. xx

    1. Hi Rebecca,
Thanks for your comment! I actually LOVE the idea of incorporating your whole wardrobe into your work looks - it's awesome that you're able to translate non-work pieces into ok-for-work looks. I'm looking forward to seeing your posts! x

  6. I never knew the power of a sharp white collared blouse until I got one. That sucker goes with everyyyything. I like that all your choices are very neutral and minimal- that's the look I'm going for right now so my eyes kind of shined when I saw all these choices haha. And super fun post! I'm curious about your skirts next :)

    1. Hi Carly, thanks for your comment!

I know what you mean... I HATE ironing so much, that I don't even own one!
My trick with these shirts is right after they come out of the wash, I lay them down on my tile floor, in front of my open balcony and let them air dry flat. I know it may sound crazy, but it works!
And for any little creases I don't want, I quickly go over them with my straightening iron before wear.

Good luck beating the iron! x
