#TBT: En Cavale
Karolina Kurkova for Vogue Paris October 2001
Sorry guys, I hate that I love this editorial. It's the guilt that comes with loving work by Terry Richardson. So I'm putting it out there, this ed is one of my favorites and I'm sadly overlooking the photographer.
I remember seeing Karo as a modern day (for 2001) damsel in distress, obviously having just had the craziest night and is being haunted by something both terrible and beautiful. There is also something so symbolic-ly Cinderella with the missing shoe thing, as if the terrible and beautiful thing haunting her is Prince Charming himself.
Also, let us take a moment and embrace that gorgeous, green, open backed Versace dress in the third photo. Need it in my life.
Happy Thursday! xx
PS, anyone know who's responsible for the styling here? Wasn't able to find the original credits. Thanks in advance :)
