First of all, I would like to kindly state that the brand, Joseph, did not in any way sponsor this post whatsoever... They just seem to make the exact sweater I'm craving at the moment. Because it's just that weather - cold, but not too cold, but definitely not hot, but not hot enough... Aka, sweater weather.
Ah, and while I can't confirm the quality of these pretty Joseph babies due to the annoying fact that I don't actually own one (yet) - but one can only imagine that something so good could only feel as good.
You can find them all here.
Have a lovely day. xx

Magdalena Frackowiak by Txema Yeste for Vogue Paris February 2013
Styling by Geraldine Saglio
Did you really think you'd see only ONE of the editorials from this issue on the blog? Nah, when Vogue Paris does New York, you'll be sure to get tons here on TOPCOAT.
It's funny how I sometimes tend to compare almost everything New York to something/someone from Sex and the City. It's almost amazing how a show could have so much influence over me, but really, is this woman not totally Samantha? Put Kim Cattrall's face in and walla... The styling is killer, and there are some pieces of jewelry here I'd actually kill for. Amazing.

Andreea Diaconu by David Sims for Vogue Paris February 2013
Styling by Emmanuelle Alt
Vogue Paris, like the rest of us, is having a major New York moment. And they have dedicated their February '13 issue to the fabulous city. Each of the mag's main stylists has an editorial in the issue, and each one is special and stunning in it's own way but all about the city. However, this one is my favorite - styled by our very own Queen Voguette, Emmanuelle, and shot by another VP classic, David Sims.
It's bringing me back to the New York of the nineties, I feel like this woman could be Carrie Bradshaw's friend. Or maybe an arch enemy of hers. But she belongs in that New York. I also want to mention that I wish I had the model's perfect brows.
Enjoy this, and cheers to New York City. More after the jump xx

Well, here's my round up of the best. Beauty and dressed. But really, the best part of the Globes was the actual show, for the first time ever. It was so funny, and was really just like a huge Hollywood party. If you haven't already, go watch the show (it's even on YouTube already). Don't forget to click the link to view more, and here's who was wearing who:
Jennifer Lawrence in Dior, Marion Cotillard with makeup done by Christophe Danchaud, Kerry Washington in Miu Miu, Kristen Wiig in Michael Kors, Amanda Seyfried in Givenchy, Rosie Huntington Whiteley in Saint Laurent Paris, Anne Hathaway in Chanel, Claire Danes with makeup done by Martin Maulawizada/Laura Mercier, Jessica Chastain with makeup done by Kristofer Buckle.

(ps: Burberry's facebook, here)
So, ladies, when was the last time you wanted pretty much everything from a men's collection? Ok ok, for me it hasn't been long (Zara Men does the best sweaters, which are perfectly oversized on me)... But this Burberry collection is really just fantastic. Animal print for men. And those sunnies, may I? Along with the shoes, handbags, coats, and accessories.
I feel like I've said this a million times before but - Christopher Bailey, you genius!!! How he recreates such classic pieces again, and again, and again, and again is just beyond. When asked who my favorite designer is, Mr Bailey is the first who comes to mind because he is one of the very few who is consistantly brilliant. Ah, glad I let that out. And now, click the link to view more of this collection. xx

Karen Elson by Patrick Demarchelier for UK Vogue January 2013
Sending some spec-spiration your way, and wondering, when I'll actually be getting that new pair I've been needing. I've always thought that bright colors do suit my skin tone, and since I rarely wear much bright colors on a daily bases, perhaps I'll bring in the color via glasses? Click the link to view the rest of this editorial, and tell me your thoughts on bright specs. xx

'The bigger the better' I say to coats nowadays.
Even if they cover most of my tiny 5'2" frame, as long as they shield me from this horrible winter.

(ps: my Pinterest)
Did I mention how annoying it is trying to look for an apartment when your whole country is flooded? Yes. Though instead of actually looking at places today, I'm taking advantage of the weather and the fact that the highway to Tel Aviv is flooded which has given me time to spend on Pinterest, looking for ideas on how I'm going to furnish a tiny Tel Aviv apartment. And mind you, when I say tiny, I mean tiny. For the price of renting a larger apartment, it already pays to rent a flat on Park Avenue. That is the current ridiculous real estate situation in Tel Aviv. So I'll be doing a lot of 'stuffing into corners',' and having 'a million shelves per room'. And thanks to this fabulous inspo, I think I just might pull this one off. All that's left is to actually find the place now. xx

Cameron Russel by Benny Horne for Vogue Australia February 2013
You know what makes me miss Miami more than anything? This horrible cold weather, being forced indoors all the time, the having to reply on air con heat to live... Yeah, not living with a real, harsh winter is definitely something I've taken advantage of as a young Floridian.
Oh, and we can always count on our favorite Aussies living on the other side of the world to give us that inspo, just enough to make us wish we were someone else. And I feel like I've said thing a hundred times before, but I really really really really miss Miami. xx

Bottega Veneta SS 2013 campaign, shot by Peter Lindbergh (via)
The first post of 2013 must belong to a photo that's quite special. One that will be unforgettable, at least for the year to come. This campaign is that of a strong collection from Bottega, and I love that they teamed with a strong and incredible photographer and visionary for the campaign, that is so cinematic and stunning. It's seriously like a still from a vintage film, you know, from one of the old Italian films which are filled with such a chic vibe. Being so dramatic and so soft at the same time. Ah, I do recall asking for much beauty in campaigns for our 2013 collections. And I love that my request is being fulfilled, and so soon at that!
