Viva America

(ps: http://vogue.globo.com/)
Marcelia Freesz by Zee Nunes for Vogue Brazil October 2012

An editorial from a very strong Vogue BR issue, you know, the really colorful cover featuring Lana Stone with a Peruvian inspired headpiece (here). I am admittedly not the biggest fan of more 'maximalist' styling, especially in editorials, but I still admire the way it is done here. It's a lot of beautiful pieces crammed into one look, and surprisingly, it looks amazing. I also love that a lot of Brazilian designer's pieces are mixed with Isabel Marant and Phillip Lim. It makes me feel like I'm really missing out on something great because I'm not as familiar with these designer's work...
Anyways, just an editorial I really wanted to share. Have an incredible day ♥ xx

  9. Really beautiful!:) You're definitely missing out. They make amazing things in Brazil. I usually follow their fashion weeks in Rio and São Paulo but they're not too publicized, which is a shame. Even if you don't speak Portuguese it's worth following Brazilian mags on facebook and twitter, so you can keep up with Brazilian fashion.;)
