PRADA SS13 - backstage

(ps: style.com)
Prada Spring/Summer 2013 Backstage from Milan Fashion Week

I'll admit that this isn't my favorite Prada collection to date, but there is no denying that Muicca is an absolute genius. This collection was so about darkness and finding the light, and in this collection I actually found my light in the details. The bold red lip, the leather socks with the flat sandal, those amazing specs, white fur for spring...
Thoughts on this collection? xx

  5. I'm so confused about Prada. I kinda hated half of it. And the part I loved might be too politically incorrect for me to love. I just loved the fur and right now I'm kinda praying for it to be faux-fur and not the real deal (and what's up with fur for summer btw?). I know that some time ago Miuccia said she wouldn't use real fur in her designs but it looks pretty real to me...The glasses and the geisha/ice-skating shoes are pretty amazing though.

  6. I agree, I'm not sure I would personally wear it, but it is a lovely collection nonetheless

  7. I loved the direction they went in for hair and makeup - The bare face, the bright bold lip with tiny accent on the cupid's bow, the choppy baby bangs - Really cool

  11. I totally agree, I usually love Prada, but this collection wasn't my favourite, but I loved the hair & makeup... Those leather socks with the ridiculously high platforms were brilliant too!

  14. I like the red lips. As for the collection - it may look exciting now but when you'll look back at it a year from now it will make you cringe...

  15. The Prada collection is pleasing to the eye from an art sense--but I can't imagine too many dying to wear it--a little too austere for the glamorous look most want to achieve!!
Did you notice the little white line above the top lip? Gonna try it!!

  19. Seriously??? I would love to be on a fashion show backstage, I think it's the only way a person can feel the stress and the hard work a fashion collection means!!!

I must say that those sunglasses with flowers are sooooo cute!!
