Christian Dior Haute Couture 2012

(ps: style.com)

The lady is back AND Dior is back, thanks to Raf Simons.
I haven't had the time to read the reviews on this show, but I obviously fell in love with it from first sight.

I will start by saying this - I don't think anyone will be quite like John Galliano, yet I have accepted that. He was brilliant, but it's time to turn to a new chapter in the Dior house, and Raf exceeded all expectations.
He brought back the lady, but with such a modern and almost punk-y twist.
The full, beaded 'ball gown' skirt with a sheer top? Nipple rings showing? Cool lime green and gray tie-dye full 50's style dress? I am loving what I'm seeing. And it seems like the Dior front row was loving it too; if you look closley you can see a few smiles among them, which is super rare at shows. Plus Alber Elbaz was there supporting his friend, which is so sweet.
Being such a big follower of the Dior house, I feel like celebrating after seeing this collection. I feel like it's so refreshing, and I'm so pleased with what Raf has given us.

What are your thoughts on this collection? Do you like Raf for Dior? Is Galliano still missing from Dior? xx
