Bottega Veneta & Emilio Pucci SS11

(style.com)

(The first 6 looks are Bottega Veneta and the other 8 looks are Emilio Pucci.)
I know this post might look a little messy because I'm putting two very different collections in one post, but these are two of my all time favorite brands and these are the two shows I most look forward to during Milan Fashion Week... So to me it feels right that they are in one post :)

At Bottega Veneta we see soft meets hard, this look that is both feminine and masculine and it looks very beautiful. The collection feels so relaxed as well (probably due to those great sandals the models were walking in for half the show) and fresh.

At Pucci there are prints and colours! It's Ibiza glam with the most amazing over-the-knee boots I have ever seen *_* I love the suede vest and leather jacket as well. The opening and closing pieces (first and last look) are both so romantic, so beautiful, and super sexy with that lace up plunge (iconic Veruschka wearing YSL in the 60's maybe?) I just love it.

I think the one thing these two collections have in common is that they are both very chic, filled with clothes I am expecting to see on the pages of Vogue...And I would absolutely love to own the majority of pieces from both of these collections obv ;)

Now, as always, I am curious to know what you think about these collections? Any favorites/letdowns?
xx

*I will be taking a vacation to the city of Tel Aviv and to Jaffa tomorrow! I'll be gone until Thursday evening. And I will not have a computer, meaning I will not be able to reply to any comments until then.. sorrry, but I'll be sure to reply when I get back!
But for now, wishing everyone a lovely week!
Oh, and I'm flying to New York in 10 daysssssss ahh can't wait! x

Allure October 2010

Ever since the last post I did on beauty of Fendi SS11, I have been SO inspired by hair and makeup.
At Fendi I found SS beauty perfection, and in this editorial I found FW beauty perfection.
Nude lips, dark eyes, loose waves...Sasha looks so beautiful, sexy, and so glamorous..Love it! xx

The clothes, accessories, and shoes were gorgeous (as it always is, Karl Lagerfeld can't do wrong!), but it was really the hair and makeup that stole the show.
I am crazy about these lipstick shades in pinks and oranges paired with a very simple eye, and this very natural looking straight hair.. It's the definition of spring/summer beauty, xx

London Fashion Week SS11

Acne-LOVE the long length, knits, minimalistic feel

Burberry Prorsum-The mix of biker chic and classic Burberry...Worked perfectly, especially with The Feeling playing in the background! (Fell in love with the last look, the leather trench coat with the shoulder details.. Simply gorgeous)

Christopher Kane-The perfect mix of pleating and lace, very lady-like with an edgy twist (and in fun spring colours!)

Matthew Williamson-Gypset perfection fit from Miami to Ibiza!

Sass & Bide-(I'll let the gorgeousness in the photos speak for themselves)

Topshop Unique-bohemian yet elegant, j'adore!

(all photos via style.com)
To sum in LFW SS11: Burberry was defiantly the highlight, as it always is.
Sass & Bide is def the new favorite, and it was over all a pretty impressive fashion week!

Any favorites? Let downs? Opinions?
I'm interested to hearing what you though of this season's London shows!

Helmut Lang SS11

(style.com)
This collection is by far the one collection I would want every single piece from.
My favorites are these gorgeous maxi skirts and that beautiful red dress.... *sigh*
I love the different textures (knit, silk crepe, jersey, leather, chiffon...) and the great, fresh colours.
Anddd making this collection even better are the handbags previewed here.. I'm already loving that black cross body bag!

Now that NYFW is over... What was your favorite collection???
Also, what are you looking forward to seeing in London? Any predictions?

Have a lovely weekend, xx

3.1 Phillip Lim SS11

The black over white sheer embroidered trench? Yes please :)
Love the nude leather, colour blocking, beading and embroidery.
The layering of textures was just so perfect and felt so right... There is also a very feminine feel to this collection and the bags, sunnies, and shoes are all so gorgeous!!!
